Classroom Examples of the Power of Google Docs and Sites in Developing High School Online Collaboration

Presented by: Susan Ettenheim, Teacher, Eleanor Roosevelt High School, 02M416
This session is geared towards: Techie, Teacher, Admin
Level of Session: Tips and Tricks

Join me in a virtual trip through my high school classrooms and return to your rooms, able to implement new ideas for online discussion and collaboration in your classroom using Google Docs, Sites and Blogger, all part of the Google Apps Suite of applications.

People say that high school students are not able to have full sentence conversations online. Not true! Google Apps is our framework for building meaningful conversations.

Exchange ideas for sharing and discussing classwork online, helping students find each other online and initiate and engage in authentic discussion, publishing and networking projects, and back channeling and reflecting during classroom periods.
